User Requirements Consolidation Workshop
June 30 @ 09:00 - 17:00 CEST
The User Requirement Consolidation Workshop is performed in the frame of the WORLDSOILS project and the main objective is to involve internationally renowned experts, end users (with soil organic carbon monitoring needs), research and policy bodies, in the consolidation of a user requirement baseline for the implementation of a Soil Organic Carbon monitoring system based on Earth Observation (EO) satellite data.
This event will be attended by stakeholders from EU government bodies, regulators, academia and industry with high interest on soils monitoring and will gain understanding of the existing SOC requirements (from EU policy and end-user perspectives), the enablers and barriers appearing when using EO technologies for SOC prediction. Additionally, the attendants will have the opportunity to participate in the discussion about the adequacy of the user requirements identified by the project team and also propose new user needs that could be incorporated in the baseline (after a conciliation of the user needs, feasibility and project timeframe).
This event is restricted to project stakeholders and project team members only. If you are interested in engaging with the project, please read the “Contact Us” section in our stakeholder page.
